Description: Supervised practical field experience. Emphasis on role of technician in various traditional and non-traditional practice settings. Students assigned to practicum training sites and work under direct supervision of registered pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians to gain exposure to professional pharmacy practices. Students expected to assume more responsibility and work with less individualized attention.
Prerequisites: PHM-1860 Pharmacy Technology Practicum I, PHM-2701 Current Topics in Pharmacy Practice or concurrent enrollment, and departmental approval.
Hours: 3 Lecture: 1 Other: Practicum: 14 hours per week. Seminar: 1 hour per week.
