Description: Supervised practical field experience designed to emphasize role of technician in various traditional practice settings. Students assigned to practicum training sites and work under direct supervision of registered pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians to gain exposure to professional practices.
Prerequisites: PHM-1300 Introduction to Pharmacy Practice, PHM-1350 Pharmacy Practice I, PHM-1450 Pharmacology and Therapeutic Principles I, and departmental approval: site assignments.
Hours: 3 Lecture: 1 Other: Practicum: 14 hours per week. Seminar: 1 hour per week.
