Description: Supervised field experience in clinical health care settings designed to emphasize the role of the Physician Assistant to primary care physicians. Students assigned to clinical rotations, under direct supervision of medical personnel, gain exposure to the evaluation and care of the elderly, including illness, aging, nutrition, mental status changes, as well as death and dying.
Prerequisites: PA-2301 Patient Management and concurrent enrollment in PA-2972 Field Experience Seminar I or concurrent enrollment in PA-2982 Field Experience Seminar II, or departmental approval.
