MATH1360: MATH-1360: Technical Mathematics II

Description: Continuation of Technical Mathematics I that stresses relationship of mathematics to engineering applications. Topics include vectors, polar coordinate system, law of sines and cosines, basic trigonometric identities, complex numbers, straight line and conic sections, limits, differentiation and graphical applications of the derivative, and indefinite and definite integration and applications. Emphasis on technology as tool through use of graphing calculator/computer.

Prerequisites: MATH-1160 Technical Mathematics I, or departmental approval: equivalent coursework.
