Description: Terminology utilized by health care professionals. Emphasis on spelling, definition, pronunciation, and usage of basic and complex medical terms related to hematology, lymphatic, integumentary, special senses, nervous, psychiatric and endocrine systems. Emphasis on reading, translating and composing medical documents. Proficient use of medical dictionary emphasized.
Prerequisites: MA-1020 Medical Terminology I, or departmental approval: related work experience.
