DMS1070: DMS-1070: Physical Concepts-Diag Sonogra

Description: Introduction to basic physical concepts, basic mathematics as it relate to ultrasound including sound waves, wave propagation, and their interaction with media. Basic transducers construction, production of ultrasound including continuous wave and pulse wave.

Prerequisites: MATH-1141 Applied Algebra and Mathematical Reasoning or MATH-1200 Intermediate Algebra, or MATH-1521 College Algebra, or MATH-1580 Precalculus, or MATH-1610 Calculus I, or concurrent enrollment in any of the above courses.
