Description of quality, specifications and standardization, supplier selection, international sourcing, pricing principles, types of contracts, negotiation techniques, make or buy, computer based system, EDI, capital equipment, services and value analysis, and legal and ethical aspects of purchasing.
Prerequisites: BADM-1020 Introduction to Business or concurrent enrollment, or departmental approval: comparable knowledge or skills.
