Description: Overview of manufacturing and service operations covering such topics as: flow, bottleneck, balance, quality, workplace contribution, planning, materials requirement planning, inventory management procurement, logistics, floor shop control, just-in-time (JIT), capacity changes, technology and design, vertical integration, and operation strategy.
Prerequisites: BADM-1020 Introduction to Business; and BADM-1120 Principles of Management or concurrent enrollment, or BADM-2600 Introducton to World Trade; and BADM-2160 Introduction to Purchasing or BADM-2330 Human Resource Management.
