Description: Introduces basic drawing methods, media and concepts. Studio experiences emphasize drawing from observation and the development of line, mass, proportion, negative/positive space and shape, composition, light, relative values, and perspective. Historical precedents are discussed, master works analyzed, and relevant practical information is assimilated into the flow of class assignments.
